GEMMAQ gender scale
The GEMMAQ gender scale reports on the gender balance in leadership roles at companies in the Icelandic market, both listed and unlisted, as it stands at any given time.
Scores run from 0 to 10, where 10 is the highest, based on the proportion of women on the executive team and the board. The scale also takes into account the gender of the CEO and the chair of the board, which counts towards a company's GEMMAQ score when a woman holds the position.
